Next Event - 28th October - GameSpeed with Ruth Waghorn
OUR FOCUS
To create learning through practical coaching experiences.
Regional, single-topic sessions built on our learning model, where specialist coach mentors guide attendees in the learning process, as opposed to telling them. Those in the room contribute to the direction of learning, meaning the session blends toward what you actually need. You're not sat listening - you're shaping what gets covered.
EVERY WORKSHOP IS BUILT AROUND OUR CORE AIMS
UPCOMING WORKSHOPS - FIND ONE NEAR YOU

This isn't a speed workshop in the traditional sense — it's a way of thinking about it.
In this workshop, Ruth will help us challenge you to think about what gamespeed is, and how it could fit within your athletes' training processes. As usual within our performance workshops, the focus is practical exploration.
Ruth Waghorn is a Physical Performance Coach at The FA, with nine seasons across England's women's pathway and senior teams, including the successful UEFA European Championship campaigns of 2022 and 2025.
Her route in wasn't conventional — personal training, a spell with British Sailing, then Speedworks, where she interned and later worked under founder Jonas Tawiah-Dodoo, a mentor she still credits today.
Alongside her FA role, Ruth works privately with footballers in a performance setting, and consults to sporting organisations and federations on education and performance related topics — using her skills and experience to develop the game.
Co-facilitated on the night by Dan Howells, this session aims to help you apply Ruth's thinking to your own sport as you go, not just watch it applied to someone else's.

HOW YOU’LL LEARN
The 360 approach
We called it 360 because that's how we learn. The challenge goes in the middle. Every practitioner surrounds it, bringing their own perspective, their own experience, their own angle. Clarity only emerges when every perspective is in play.
The best decisions in high-performance sport rarely come from one person working alone
Collaborate 360 Performance Workshops bring every discipline into the same room, around the same challenge.
